Yahusha Called Paul To Teach Torah To The Gentiles. Galatians Easily Proves It.

A letter to a very good friend of mine regarding Gentiles/Christians/Torah/Paul.  I chose a few verses from Galatians to break down for those who refuse to hear and see the Truth.  Galatians is the great refuge of Christian lawlessness.  Christians… <sigh>  You do know that the term “christian” was not a compliment when the word was first applied to the followers of Yahusha, right?

I’ll skip that topic, but let’s take a short, sweet look at Galatians 2:15-21.  I selected this almost at random, simply by visually scanning for the words “sin”, “sinners”, “faith” and “righteousness”.  I guarantee that you won’t find a “Christian” who knows what those words actually mean if you search all day.  In fact, most Torah keepers won’t know, either.

Sin, righteous and faith are some of the most important words in the Holy Bible, and understanding what they represent to the Hebrew mind at the time the books were written is required in order to rightly divide the Words.  It’s essential.  Otherwise, the ignorant continue to stumble about in darkness.

Getting right to work here –

Gal 2:15  We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners;  law breakers/transgressors
Jews by birth had the Law and are raised to follow the commands of Yahuah. Gentiles did not have the law, and lived in perpetual lawlessness.

Gal 2:16  yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified.
(ed: “Justified” is an accomplished, finished act. The word ends in the past-tense. An event that happened, was completed and successful. The Law does not save or justify a person. The Law is and only is Yahuahs’ instructions for living life. Obedience to those instructions is the only worship Yahuah accepts.

No obedience? = no worship. No worship? = no salvation because Salvation assumes obedience to the god one is assumed to worship, or follow, or emulate. If there is no emulation of that god, whether it be Jesus or a pagan god, then there is no worship and therefore no connection or relationship.  Yahuah alone is the judge in this matter.  The thief on the cross obviously did not adhere to Torah, yet was saved and went to heaven the very same day.  But you who have had time to learn and refused – shame.  Less mercy will be appointed to you.

It is the emulation that signifies relationship. If I say that your way is The Way, but I do something completely different from what you do, then I am either a fool or a liar when I claim to follow The Way, because I do not emulate the methods of my claimed god.

WWJD? – He emulates the Way – He obeys the commands of Yahuah, and perfectly.  You?  Do you even read Torah?  Or is Torah “for the Jews”?

Gal 2:17  But if, in our endeavor to be justified in Christ, we too were found to be sinners (transgressors of the law), is Christ then a servant of sin? Certainly not!
“…if we too were found to be transgressing the law, or ignoring the law, is Christ then an advocate of lawlessness? Certainly not!”

Gal 2:18  For if I rebuild what I tore down, (a dog returning to his vomit) I prove myself to be a transgressor (a disobedient law breaker)
If he returns to law breaking, or rebuilding his ignorance of the Law by ignoring the law (Remember – Paul is addressing GENTILES and teaching the Law or Torah), he proves himself a law breaker. Remember, he is teaching the GENTILES, who did not have the Law.

Gal 2:19  For through the law (lifelong study of it and submission to it) I died to the law, so that I might live to (worship and honor) God.
He died to the Law, not “the law died to me”. He gave himself over to the commands of Yahuah, the Law, the Instructions. Dying to the Law means he laid down his own life  in submission to the commands of Yahuah. He did so that he might live in the manner prescribed by Yahuah. This is why Paul so fervently desired to kill the blasphemers – the “Christians” who were mixing Salvation through Yahusha with Torah. Paul was deeply offended and was charged with exterminating the followers of Yahusha. But Yahusha stopped Paul along the road and called Paul to do the very thing he was fighting against – kicking against the goads of the Way (Salvation through Yahusha and obedience to Torah).

Gal 2:20  I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Most readers of the Holy Bible think that “having faith” is important, and certainly trust is (don’t confuse the two), but what is most important about “faith” is this – In Hebrew, “faith” is an action word, a verb which means “support”. Therefore, when one is faithful to Yahuah, one supports Yahuah, not the other way around. The demand for action is upon the faithful, not on Yahuah. When we “have faith” we exercise faith by doing faithful things, and the only faithful things that matter to Yahuah is keeping His commands.

Gal 2:21  I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose.
Christ had to die for our failure to obey the commands of Yahuah.  Those commands are critical, hence Christ dying for our failure.  That was His purpose.  Obedience to the Law is righteousness. There is no other form of righteousness, and no other worship acceptable by Yahuah, and it is Yahuah we worship, as taught by Yahusha who prayed to Yahuah, and who stated that Yahuah is greater than He (Yahusha). But we cannot be SAVED by Torah because we all break Torah. “There is none who is RIGHTEOUS, NO NOT ONE.”  But we can get better at obeying the commands of Yahuah. Yet because we cannot follow Torah perfectly, Yahusha came to offer Himself as the Perfect Sacrifice for our TRANSGRESSIONS OF THE LAW.

“I do not nullify the grace of God” – Paul will not trample on the act of grace of Yahuah offering His only begotten as payment for our transgressions of the Law. Justification cannot come through Torah, because only Yahusha saves. Only Yahusha. Obedience to the Law is the only worship Yahuah accepts from those first saved by taking to heart the offer of salvation made by Yahusha.  Salvation does come first, otherwise obedience to Torah means very little.

The Saved Torah keepers (those who are of The WAY – why Paul was arrested and executed) ) are the people the Rev. 12 Dragon comes to destroy, one class of people with two defining attributes : Keeping Torah and Following Yahusha. The WAY. Its a noun, a “religion”.

Key Words

https://www.jerrywdavis.com/keyword-righteousness

Acts 24:14 (NKJV) – “But this I confess to you, that according to the Way, which they call a sect, so I worship the Elohim of my fathers, believing (“believing” means doing) all things which are written in the Law and in the Prophets.
Who wrote this?  Who is it that stated they worship Yahuah through believing all the law and the Prophets?  It was LUKE.  Luke, a gentile (and possibly Syrian) who NEVER MET YAHUSHA.

Matthew 7:21-23 “Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter into the kingdom of Heaven, but the ones who do the will of My Father in Heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name do many works of power? And then I will declare to them, I never knew you; “depart from Me, those working lawlessness!”
The Torah abstinent .  The Torah deniers.  The Lawless.  There is no relationship without obedience.  He will not know the Torah deniers who have had time to learn, time to submit, time to worship properly.  People who are saved and then suddenly or very soon thereafter die, He will extend mercy to.  Thief on the cross-saved and heaven same day.  No Torah likely learned.  Rebellious spouses?  Bible teachers?  Christian Pastors?  And what of Torah Churches who don’t teach the Gospel of Yahusha?  Do they deny Yahusha?

Paul, before the King and on trial for his life…
“And when the governor had nodded to him to speak, Paul replied: “Knowing that for many years you have been a judge over this nation, I cheerfully make my defense.
Act 24:11  You can verify that it is not more than twelve days since I went up to worship in Jerusalem,
Act 24:12  and they did not find me disputing with anyone or stirring up a crowd, either in the temple or in the synagogues or in the city.
Act 24:13  Neither can they prove to you what they now bring up against me.
Act 24:14  But this I confess to you, that according to the Way, which they call a sect, I worship the God of our fathers, believing everything laid down by the Law and written in the Prophets.

Obviously Paul taught Torah and lived Torah, just as Luke and Peter and every disciple of Yahusha did.

Acts 26:20, when Paul was fighting for his life in court, he declared that his very purpose as called by Yahusha in the Damascus Road vision was to get the Gentiles to repent of their transgressions of the law.  Specifically, to “repent and turn to Yahuah“.

Repent: “In theology, to sorrow or be pained for sin (transgression of the Law), as a violation of God’s holy law, a dishonor to his character and government, and the foulest ingratitude to a Being of infinite benevolence.

Repent means “Stop breaking the law and return to it.”
So obviously both Yahusha and Paul keenly desired to teach Torah to the Gentiles. Paul was the greatest teacher of the Law on earth, and Yahusha, being no idiot, tapped Paul to teach the non-Hebrews Torah, the Truth. Yahusha is the living Torah.
This is pretty easy for even Christians to understand. Problem is this: they do not want to understand, because understanding means their religion becomes one of commitment and practice, true worship. Christians want to feel good about their own righteousness rather than submit to Truth. It is that simple.

And closing: Natsarim are the sole target of Satan near the end.  Not Christians.  Its obvious why.

“Thy will be done on earth AS IT IS IN HEAVEN. ”

And just exactly what is the Will of Yahuah?

“I come only to do the Will of my Father.”

Yahusha, the living Torah.
