I am listening to Gregorio Allegri, from his album titled “Sacred Treasures II”. The current track is ‘Amplius’. I am in my attic office at 1:25 AM and it is raining hard against the roof, with thunder in the distance.
Music gives me hope. Yesterday it was Def Leppard, played at a robust volume through my very precise In Ear Monitors (IEM’s).
Holy Scripture does the same for me. It gives me hope. I am sure of my salvation and subsequent ascension into paradise. It is the living that I find most painful. I force myself to do some fine things just to push out the despair from my soul. Despair driven by sad and unnecessary defeat at home.
Like many of you have shared with me, our families do not seem interested in Truth. Not interested, and openly hostile to it. Yet we who walk in the Way are compelled to live the Truth and to teach it every day. Our passion for His gift to us is what the haters hate. They do not have that passion, and to be so passionate for something that 99 percent of humanity cannot possibly understand drives them nuts.
Be totally patient with them, because they cannot walk in the Way unless they are called to do so, and then they subsequently submit to the Truth.
I was forever turned to Truth when I was 36 years old. Turned from a very conscious hater to a very stubborn believer. It was another 23 years before Yahuah called me to Torah. No man had any part in my transformations. No teacher other than the Holy Spirit of Ani.
So be completely patient and walk your own walk. Each day has enough troubles of its own. First remove the plank from your own eye.
Although the spirit of anti-christ is prospering, I am very encouraged by how awake many people are, both the saved and the lost. People are figuring things out. All the censorship is drawing more eyeballs to the Truth, which is very good. And the truth is being told, for sure. The lost are many, but they do have self-preservation mind, so in that we have an ally. If they are not against us, they are for us, regardless of their salvation status.
Most are not.
Sidenote – the excellent bible translation Eth Cepher is now available free on E-Sword. I discovered it today and it will be my primary research media now. Usually, I will use several translations to study a verse that warrants significant time to study.
Speaking of warranting some time, check out this scripture:
Isiah 57:1 – THE righteous perish, and no man lays it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.
“Perish’ is a rather strong word. What comes to my mind when one ‘perishes’ is they died some kind of death. But the first definition of ‘perish’ according to Webster is:
PER’ISH, v.i.[L. pereo, supposed to be compounded of per and eo, to go; literally, to depart wholly.]
“To depart wholly”. Gone. Went away.
So this interesting prophetic verse says that the Righteous will be taken away, will perish, in order to avoid the evil that is coming, but that the others remaining do not consider that the perishing of the Righteous is to spare them from evil.
This verse stood out to me because it does not seem to fit the context of the chapter. It feels like an outlier, an aside. Sort of a thinking out loud by the writer. Since “context” is important, lets touch on that.
When I read that verse, the prior verses were dealing with ancient difficulties or struggles with demon worship. And then the perishing of the righteous going unnoticed.
But as I read it, I exist in my own personal context. In my context, as I read that verse I was informed that the righteous will be spared some future evil by perishing, or going intact to some other place assigned by Ani.
“Righteousness” is the act of studying, learning and following the instructions of Ani. A righteous person does follow Torah, but Yahusha did mention that some gentiles (unsaved/non-Jews) obeyed the commands of Yahuah, having never heard them taught. They just did so “because”. Therefore, those gentiles who accept Yahusha will also be righteous, albeit by spiritual accident.
Job – think of him. How did he know there was one God? How did he know to make sacrifices? Why was he such a fine son of God? Job is the oldest book in the Bible and Job lived in the region we currently call ‘Iran”. There is much we do not know. Yet Job was righteous.
So do be righteous. Download Torah Notes – The Truth and study it. Its easy, interesting and is dense with Truth that, if taken to heart, will transform your faith into action. You will fulfill your authorization to become saved.
John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave authority to become children of God, to the ones believing into His name,
Note that John 1:12 tells us that, when we accept Yahusha as our Lord, we are granted “authority to become”. It does not say that we “are”, but rather that we are authorized to “become”, implying that we are not yet where He wants us to be.
“authorization to become” is like authorization to enter. You are not inside, but you may enter if you do whatever is next to accomplish that. So one is given permission to obtain salvation by accepting Yahusha IF one follows through in faith, which is the diligent study and adherence to the commands of Yahuah.
Because ‘faith” in God means actions to prove it. That is why Paul taught that faith without works is dead. No salvation there, folks. Faith is action, and action is obedience to Gods commands.
This is precisely what makes Natsarim unique. This is what makes our lives stand out from the crowd, and this is what gets the ‘authorized to become saved” moving to complete salvation through Torah and Salvation through Yahusha. The Way.
