When Something We Do Comes Back To Hurt Us…

Its funny, but in a really painful “OMG” kind of funny way.  I can ‘t stop laughing about it, and feeling really bad about that…

There is a lesson in here somewhere.

More later. I have been rather quiet lately. Kind of like sitting on a train, looking out as the scenery flows by. I’m headed somewhere.

Oh Jerry, I am sorry: I just realized the wrong proverb was applied by me (although the first one would also fit slightly with a bit of fantasy 🙂 ).

The proper German proverb for my above given interpretation of this unhappy little video is:
”Weniger ist mehr.” or in English approximately ”Less is more.”

So the basic lesson is in my opinion to faithfully give up the decisive part of our goal-seeking actions to Him who has got each and every smallest hair on our stubborn heads counted!

We oftentimes mistake our efforts for the ultimate causation of the Lion’s den of all stuff we put proudly (foolishly) on our very own chests as ‘personal achievements’.

Bless you, dear Jerry!

There is a proverb in German I fancy much:
”Wer anderen eine Grube gräbt, fällt selbst hinein.”.
In English it sounds like:
”Whosoever digs out a pit for somebody else, ends up falling inside himself.”

It doesn’t matter oftentimes in our lives, how strong we pull the trigger, or how diligently we prepare for the task ahead, IF we overdo it (by obsessive greed to win), we detach the goal we aim for from a healthy wisdom given by the fear of our Heavenly Father who by Himself ultimately decides the fate of our labor!

We can only pull so far until we inevitalby will snap back from excessive work-based amibiton (greed for success!). Giving up the fruit of our efforts to Yahuah’s will, would have freed us to believe the impossible was indeed within our reach with His help.

I keep on prayin’ for you brother.
