A life lived properly is fraught with suffering. This axiom is opposed to the human desire for a life of ease and plenty. Pity the rich, who carry their god in their purse. The wise among the poor must constantly call on Yahuah for guidance and for help. Even Yahusha Himself called on Yahuah for guidance and help. He never threw money at a problem, but rather He prayed, even teaching us what to pray in the model prayer which covers all the bases.
Mat 6:6 But you, when you pray, enter into your room and shutting your door, pray to your Father in secret. And your Father seeing in secret will repay you in the open.
Mat 6:7 But when you pray, do not be babbling vain words, as the nations; for they think that they shall be heard in their much speaking.
Mat 6:8 Then do not be like them, for your Father knows what things you have need of before you ask Him.
Mat 6:9 So, then, you should pray this way: Our Father who is in Heaven, Hallowed be Your name.
Mat 6:10 Your kingdom come; Your will be done, as it is in Heaven, also on the earth.
Mat 6:11 Give us today our daily bread,
Mat 6:12 and forgive us our debts as we also forgive our debtors.
Mat 6:13 And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil, for Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory to the ages. Amen.
Mat 6:14 For if you forgive men their deviations, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
Mat 6:15 But if you will not forgive men their deviations, neither will your Father forgive your deviations.
So this day I am quiet in my spirit and troubled in my soul. Yes, I have eternal life in Yahuah, who poured His Holy Spirit into me one night on a hilltop far into the desert. It was a miracle, and the miracle of miracles in my life, although I have experienced His great power in my life many times. He owns me. My ear is nailed to his door post. I ask to be His slave forever, for there is no other path to life.
I love how Yahuah uses me. He strengthens me by weakening me. He increases His authority through me by diminishing authority from me. He is the Lord of Waiting. Patience is His domain. Watching, listening, weighing and measuring. Our path is often a silent one. We at times feel lonely, even empty. We do from time to time wonder where Yahuah went, when in fact He turns aside from our path when we choose disobedience to His teaching, His commands, or “the Law.”
Other times, we walk in the Way in an exemplary manner, yet still walk silently, alone along the Way, wondering where Yahuah went. Those times, He is present but He gives us space to reflect on Truth. His spirit in we who are His speaks and speaks and speaks, but if we are not sensitive to His Words within us, we will mistake those words for our own odd imaginings. Ignoring Him results in genuine silence.
Is The King of Life a bitter God? Not at all. He is ancient, and wise, and peaceful and creative and warlike and every good thing. He, too, loses patience, just as we, too, lose patience. We are made like Him. He gave us His attributes, or qualities. We can choose obedience, or rebellion. We can build radios, ships, popsicles, and everything imaginable. Our creative ability is obviously an attribute of Yahuah which He gave us through Adam.
He lets us choose evil because if He did not allow it, then He would not have a valuable creation. Our value to him is due to our acceptance of His offer and our desire to obey His commands. If He did not create the opportunity for Adam to sin, then He would simply have in us a meaningless creature who represented no reflection of Himself. It is crucial that we have the option to sin, and equally crucial that we turn away from it.
Yet we do fail and Yahusha was required to die for our failure, lest again, there be none of us in heaven. Yahuah truly wants us to join Him more than He wants anything in all of creation. He burns with desire for us to trust Him and to walk in His Way. We are the most important thing in the entire scope of God’s desire. Of all that is or ever will be, none will be our equal in value to Him, not even the Holy Messengers, who themselves marvel that we follow Yahuah yet we have never seen Him.
Hebrews 2:7 – “(ESV) You made him for a little while lower than the angels; you have crowned him with glory and honor,
Therefore when we are saved, we are baptized by immersion, representing our birth, the water breaking and our emergence into the living and royal family of Yahuah as His own children.
Angels, for all of their glory and service, are not Sons of the Most High, nor will they rule in Heaven. This, I think, is why Satan rebelled. He learned that Yahuah was going to take a creature made from mud, breathe His attributes into that creature, and eventually allow that creature to rule in heaven, ruling even the covering Cherub (ha shatan), and Satan’s prideful rebellion was his downfall. He refused to be subordinate to the coming mud-man, and therefore wages a global war of slaughter against us this very day.
Suffering is required for righteous, ordained growth. To become a better son of God, we must experience loss, we must deal with fear, loneliness, rejection, death and more. You who walk in the Way know this to be true. It is not that Yahuah desires to harm us, but that He loves training us and elevating us, because in our weakness His presence within us is made even greater, not less.
Do you see that? Do you understand it? Do you accept it?
Within my own life I see so much rebellion in my family members, and I am talking specifically about my own children. My oldest child is a daughter who will not even speak to me, and her last text (months ago) ended with the word “insane”.
Nice.
And my oldest son has his girlfriend constantly over at my former wife’s house, where she allows son and girlfriend unlimited use of his bedroom and the lock on his door. The girls dad used to drop her off outside and leave her there. His own daughter. Now that she has a car that she can drive herself, she is present almost every time I go visit.
This is the same son who asked me to start a bible study for himself and his friends. The same son who knows that he is living in sinful rebellion. His mother encourages this behavior by allowing it. And there is more, which sickens my stomach. Last night I had to leave because the sin there is overwhelming. I am even now nauseated from the place and the behaviors.
Endurance. We are called to “run the race”, and of you have ever run the race, then you know what it feels like to vomit from the running of it. The gasping and clawing for every molecule of air, the strain of it, the pain of it and the exhaustion of it. Yet the runners become stronger, faster, healthier. The spectators sit on the sidelines, knowing nothing of running the race.
In short, I am furious at the sin running rampant through the home where my children live, the sin allowed and encouraged by their mother. Her rejection of Truth, her “tree energy”, multiple-life theology is anti-Christ, pagan and driven by Satan. It is a religion that paves the road to hell, and my children are on it. In my anger I want to lash out, to do whatever is necessary to put an end to the sickness of sin around my children.
Mat 6:15 But if you will not forgive men their deviations, neither will your Father forgive your deviations.
As I sit here nauseated by the sin tolerated and encouraged around my children by their mother, though I suspect she wants better (but not salvation) for them, I am confronted by the requirement from the mouth of Yahusha Himself that I must forgive her her deviations, her sin, her wandering far from the Way. I must forgive, or Yahauah will not forgive me.
So here is what I will do. I will forgive her and them, and I will continue to love them, to pray for them and to pray with them. I will pray with them every time I see them, all of them, any who will allow me, and I will report back to you the results.
There will be results, because the Words of Yahuah are alive and will return to Him after passing through the spirits of the recipients, just as rain water passes through the earth before returning to the heaven.
Isa 55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Isa 55:10 “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater,
Isa 55:11 so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.
If it is true that Yahusha manifests Himself within His saved ones, then it must also be true that our prayers are sanctioned by Yahuah Himself.
1Jn 4:15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.
1Jn 4:16 And we have known and have believed the love which God has in us. God is love, and the one abiding in love abides in God, and God in him.
So if the Words of Yahuah are to pass through my lips as sanctioned or proper prayer, in order to be heard I must address this problem through love. That means I cannot act on my wrath, but must respond in meekness and kindness and with a gentle spirit. This is difficult for a wounded lion, but with Yahuah, all things are possible.
And so brothers and sisters, this is one example of why we suffer – it is to strengthen our faith, separate from our flesh, and increase both wisdom and understanding. The goal of Yahuah is that we represent Him in all matters, and that we deal with each other kindly. Even when we are vomiting from the sin which abounds around us, among our friends and within our families. Yahuah’s pain and anguish over the sins of mankind is immeasurably greater. Consider the sin in the world and Yahuah’s great love for His people.
In our suffering and subsequent mercy that we give those who hurt us, we become more like Him. Mercy given in deeds, not merely in words.

I love you. Peace to you. Peace.

This possession of our children is an epidemic. So many children are being deceived by these demons. What we need is more missionaries in our own country to minister to the youth. We are losing them at an alarming rate. They are being turned against their parents and their faith. You are not alone Jerry, there are many parents out there suffering as well.
Yes, dear Jerry, I ask for follow-ups and updates. Romans 8:28: “For this we know, that God works all things together for good to them that love the Lord and who are called according to His purpose.” SHALOM!
We must Love the people, but condone their ways. We are to pray for them with all our might to open their hearts, mind and soul to help lead them to God. It will be their free will and we will all be judged. We must all take care and pray for those who have fallen away.
You are a man that does not give up (on your children and X). You pray often for them. Yet, even within our own backyard, I see too many men (of God) giving up on one another, over petty issues, these days. This should not be so. We must suffer and fight the good fight. Endure brother endure.
It is in the able hands of Yahuah. Time reveals Truth. There are consequences, even when forgiven.
So very true.
