What Kind Are You? How Do You Know?

It is good to begin the day reading the Word of Yahuah.  The word “good” is important, though we take it for granted, lumping it into the category of words we classify automatically and without much thought.  Many, if not most readers here have a Biblical worldview.  Amen.  That is part of the Way.

The book called “James” in the Holy Bible has a short few verses on hearing and doing the Word that is wonderful in its clarity. Continue reading “What Kind Are You? How Do You Know?”

Podcast: Christmas, Divorce, Anti-Christs, War

Christmas has no part of Christ in it.  Go figure.  Its a Catholic invention made to attract a broader audience into the “Universal Church”.  When people write “X-mas”, they are actually correct.  So don’t get all blown up over x-mas.  Its a totally made-up lie.

Some conversation on the injections, on war with Ukraine, divorce, money VS Truth, anti-christs everywhere and the simplicity of obedience.

Peace to you, and fellowship.  You are loved.

Psalm 142 – I lift up my voice to the Lord for mercy.

I am going through a time of sorrows, and am asking for prayers from you.  There are times like these in the lives of many, when despair and hopelessness swallow up our souls, leaving us hungry for the mercy of death.  The long sleep until resurrection; the ascension to glory and to true peace.

But our appointed time will come on schedule, and we are called to walk in the Way regardless of any obstacle, or sorrow.  In our obedience, hope rises.  In obedience, righteousness gains possession of Continue reading “Psalm 142 – I lift up my voice to the Lord for mercy.”

Loving Puts A Shine On Your Soul

Remember when you first started using email, and sometimes you would hit the SEND key before you edited your fresh composition?  Or maybe you wrote a real payback-is-hell email to your boss or wife or husband or friend, and it was mostly an exercise of “Oh I wish I could send this”, and you sent it?

I did that two minutes ago.

Not an email but a posting that went out to a whole bunch of subscribers.  It is a piece about fidelity, respect, obedience from wives to husbands.  I have some wonderful women who subscribe to me and I do try to be sensitive to “feelings”.

Nonetheless, Yahuah is no respector of persons, so neither should we be.  And wrong is wrong.  Sin is sin and we all need to love more faithfully.

I’d like to speak to Mr., now.  Husband, father, son – the man.  Commanded to love his wife repeatedly by Yahuah, what does that tell us about men? Continue reading “Loving Puts A Shine On Your Soul”

Love: The Best And Most Difficult Choice.

Through a glass, darkly.  That is how the best of us live, seeing our lives through the Holy Spirit (if saved and having turned from our disobedience to obedience) and filtering the truth through our human minds and emotions.

Until we are free from our physical, dirt-centric human vessels, we must endure the imperfect understanding we live with now.  As human beings, we can never walk as we will walk with Him in the next.

So we march along, sometimes smug in our status, sometimes shamed by our sin, always dealing with the contrast between our dirt foundation and the righteous perfect love made manifest by the Holy Spirit, who dwells within those who love Yahusha and obey His commands.

Like shape-shifting “aliens” (demons) with a broken “shift shape now” feature, Continue reading “Love: The Best And Most Difficult Choice.”

Do You Think You Know What Sin Is?

Originally posted on August 27, 2017 @ 10:00 pm

Sitting in Sunday School this morning, our teacher asked everyone to turn to 1st John, chapter three, verse four.  I love this scripture, as it defines what sin is.  Let me ask you, before you go further, what is sin?

Its clearly defined for us.  My Pastor said “We should believe what Jesus says about the Word of God”., and he is right.  My Pastor also said “When we contradict Yahweh, we blaspheme Him”, which is also true.

So what is sin, brothers?

Most people in your church, including you, likely do not know.  Our Pastors teach continually the necessity of “not sinning”.  We all know sin = bad.  We all know we are sinners, yet as Paul said, we do continually obey our flesh and deny our minds, ultimately we sin.  But sin can be avoided, because Yahuah tells us plainly each sin.  In writing.
