Proverbs 28:9 – “He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.
The Christian church ignores the Torah, and that killed the Christian religion.
Ignorance of Torah defines the “Christian” religion. Note that I do not refer to “Christian” as a church, but do refer to it more as a religion.

1But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will be present. 2For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boasters, proud, verbally abusive, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3unloving, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, savage, haters of good, 4betrayers, reckless, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5having a form of godliness but denying its power. And turn away from these.
If you read this rapidly, it sounds like generally all men will have all of these symptoms, but that is not the case. Some men will have some symptoms, and other men will have other of these symptoms. One group of men will be a religious class who portray themselves as godly men, while simultaneously rejecting the meat and muscle of the Truth.
