When studying the commands of Yahuah, one comes across commands that seem uniquely difficult to obey. Specifically, I speak of the commands to stone certain people to death.
These are capital offenses. Yahuah seems stern and even evil in these commands, but He is not evil in any way. His commands preserve us. His commands give us strength, and make us a more righteous people.
The world, governed by the satan, demands that we violate every command of Yahuah. The world hates the obedient. The obedient represent righteousness, and the obedient are a truly set-apart, holy people.
We can thank Yahusha for His example of mercy, for in addition to being merciful to the woman, who was clearly entrapped or set up by the false and utterly corrupt servants of the satan, He extended that same mercy to us in 2017.
In 2017, we stand very few as Torah-observant sons and daughters of Yahuah. We are FEW. Certainly if Yahusha had not given us this example, we would struggle with uncertainty, weighing out whether or not we should stone the evil-doers (Torah aberrant: those who deny the valid commands of Yahuah). No court would judge us rightly, and we would be labeled terrorists, just as the Muslims are labeled terrorists.
So in a very simple single sentence, He said “Let he among you who is without sin cast the first stone.”
The oldest priest dropped his stone first, followed by the next oldest, down to the youngest. Being the sons of the satan, they each knew that they were the worst of the worst in Israel.
We are hardly any better than the Pharisees or the Sadducees. Who among us has not lusted, hated, or murdered in our heart even one time in our life? We are forgiven, and that is the main difference. We also seek to obey the commands (download 1. Torah Proof Scriptures ) which the religious rulers of Israel did not do. They had what they called “The Law“, which was the Talmud, a Babylonian-era book of “wisdom”, written by “Sages” (Hebrew teachers) that was considered more holy and wise than the words of GOD himself. How’s that for blasphemy? Dogs. Yahusha hated their Judaic/Talmudic laws, and told them that they served their “father, the devil”
We who follow Yahusha and keep the commands of Yahuah are very special to Yahuah. We are the Natsarim, those who walk in The Way, just as Shaul (Paul) was accused of doing. That is why he requested to be tried in Rome. He was specifically accused, rightly, of being of The Way, following the commands of Torah and preaching the salvation of souls through Mashiach Yahusha.
Yahusha said Himself that He was “the Way”, and that He obeyed the commands of His Father. That is also our path – salvation through Yahusha and obedience to the commands of Yahuah. We are few, and we are His treasure.

Stoning People To Death
(Note: the phrase “shall be cut off from his people” means to stone to death)
Stoning Those Who Suggest Worshiping Other Gods
Deu 13:1 If a prophet or a dreamer of dreams rises among you, and gives you a sign or a wonder,
Deu 13:2 and the sign or the wonder which he spoke to you occurs, saying, Let us go after other gods which you have not known, and let us serve them,
Deu 13:3 you shall not listen to the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams. For Jehovah your God is testing you, to know if you love Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
Deu 13:4 You shall walk after Jehovah your God, and you shall fear Him. And you shall keep His commandments, and you shall hear His voice, and you shall serve Him, and you shall cleave to Him.
Deu 13:5 And that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall die, because he has spoken apostasy against Jehovah your God, who is bringing you out of the land of Egypt, and has redeemed you out of the house of slaves, to thrust you out of the way in which Jehovah your God has commanded you to walk. And you shall put away evil from among you.
Deu 13:6 If your brother, your mother’s son, or your son, or your daughter, or the wife of your bosom, or your friend who is as your own soul, shall entice you secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which you have not known, you and your fathers,
Deu 13:7 of the gods of the people around you, those near you or far off from you, from one end of the earth even to the other end of the earth,
Deu 13:8 you shall not consent to him, nor listen to him, nor shall your eye have pity on him, nor shall you spare nor hide him.
Deu 13:9 But killing you shall kill him; your hand shall be first upon him to cause him to die, and the hand of all the people last.
Deu 13:10 And you shall stone him with stones, and he shall die, for he has sought to thrust you out from Jehovah your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slaves.
Deu 13:11 And all Israel shall hear and fear, and shall not again do any such wicked thing as this among you.
Stoning Those Who Do Worship Other Gods
Deu 17:2 When there is found among you, in one of your gates which Jehovah your God is giving to you, a man or woman who does that which is evil in the sight of Jehovah your God, in transgressing His covenant,
Deu 17:3 and has gone and served other gods, and worshiped them; or the sun, or the moon, or of the host of the heavens, which I have not commanded;
Deu 17:4 and it has been revealed to you, and you have heard, and searching have searched; and, behold, it is true; and the thing is confirmed, that this hateful thing has been done in Israel,
Deu 17:5 then you shall bring out to your gates that man or that woman who has done this evil thing, the man or the woman; and you shall stone them with stones, and they shall die.
Deu 17:6 At the mouth of two witnesses or three witnesses shall he that is to die be put to death. He shall not be put to death at the mouth of one witness.
Deu 17:7 The hand of the witnesses shall be first on him, to put him to death; and the hand of all the people last. And you shall put away the evil from among you.
Stoning Rebellious Children
Deu 21:18 If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not listen to his father’s voice, or his mother’s voice; even though they discipline him, he will not listen to them;
Deu 21:19 then his father and his mother shall lay hold on him and bring him out to the elders of his city, and to the gate of his place;
Deu 21:20 and they shall say to the elders of his city, This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious; he will not listen to our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard.
Deu 21:21 And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, and he shall die. So you shall put away the evil from among you, that all Israel shall hear, and fear.
Stoning Promiscuous Daughters
Deu 22:20 But if this thing is true that tokens of virginity have not been found for the girl,
Deu 22:21 then they shall bring out the girl to the door of her father’s house. And the men of her city shall stone her with stones, and she shall die; for she has done folly in Israel, to commit fornication in her father’s house. And you shall put away the evil from among you.
Deu 22:22 If a man is found lying with a woman married to a husband, then they shall both of them die, the man that lay with the woman, and the woman. And you shall put away the evil from Israel.
Deu 22:23 If there is a girl that is a virgin, betrothed to a man, and a man finds her in the city, and lies with her,
Deu 22:24 then you shall bring them both out to the gate of that city. And you shall stone them with stones so that they die, the girl because she did not cry out, being in the city; and the man, because he has humbled his neighbor’s wife. And you shall put away the evil from among you.
Deu 22:25 But if a man finds a betrothed girl in the field, and the man seizes her and lies with her; then only the man that lay with her shall die.

Lev 20:16 And if a woman draws near to any animal to lie with it, you shall even put to death the woman and the animal; dying they shall die; their blood shall be on them.
Lev 20:17 And if a man takes his sister, the daughter of his father or daughter of his mother, and he has seen her nakedness, and she sees his nakedness, it is a shame. And they shall be cut off before the eyes of the sons of their people; he has uncovered his sister’s nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.
Lev 20:18 And if a man lies with a menstruous woman, and has uncovered her nakedness, he has made her fountain bare; and she has uncovered the fountain of her blood; even both of them shall be cut off from the midst of their people.
Lev 20:19 And you shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother’s sister, nor of your father’s sister, because he has made naked his near kin; they shall bear their iniquity.
Lev 20:20 If a man lies with his aunt, he has uncovered the nakedness of his uncle; they shall bear their sin; they shall die childless.
Punishment for Child Sacrifice
Lev 20:1 And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
Lev 20:2 And you shall say to the sons of Israel, Any man of the sons of Israel, and of the aliens who are living in Israel, who gives of his seed to Molech dying shall die. The people of the land shall stone him with stones! (This is also abortion)
Lev 20:3 And I, I shall set My face against that man, and shall cut him off from the midst of his people, for he has given of his seed to Molech, so as to defile My sanctuary, and to pollute My holy name.
Lev 20:4 And if the people of the land truly hide their eyes from that man, as he gives his seed to Molech, so as not to put him to death,
Lev 20:5 then I shall set My face against that man, and against his family, and shall cut him off, and all who go whoring after him, even going whoring after Molech from the midst of their people.
Lev 20:6 And the person who turns to mediums, and to spirit-knowers, to go whoring after them, I shall set my face against that person, and cut him off from the midst of his people.
Lev 20:7 And you shall sanctify yourselves, and you shall be holy, for I am Jehovah your God;
Lev 20:8 and you shall keep My statutes and shall do them; I am Jehovah who is sanctifying you.
Lev 20:9 And any man who curses his father and his mother dying he shall die; he has cursed his father and his mother; his blood shall be on him.
Shalom Jerry! Thank you for reposting this post. I always learn something new when I reread scriptures through Natsarim eyes, especially scriptures like these that I don’t tend to reread as much as other scriptures. You are a blessing. Shalom, Kathleen
Men of Yahuah like you have walked faithfully and He is blessing your work for Him. His fruit of you teaching Torah to me has strongly influenced me and changed me away from sun worship on Sundays to now worship of Him on Sabbath. I enjoy your teachings. Be blessed brother.
