New Software Can Read Ancient Scrolls Too Brittle To Open

Interesting new scanning technology successfully scans the text written in a 2000 year old scroll that was too fragile and brittle to unroll. It has been rolled up for 2000 years or so, and still is unopened. But we can read it 🙂

This is excellent, because there are a good many scrolls that are too fragile to attempt opening. With this new scanning technology, we might get to read all of them.
